Welcome Of The Participants
We welcome you at the Avignon University with a coffee and some pastries to start the day in the best way possible.
Session #1: Structural And Morphological Traits
The session focuses on the interpretation of sensors’ data to retrieve the structure of the canopy or the plant, especially the latest development in computer vision (Deep Learning), or 3D sensors (Lidar, Structure from Motion)
Session #2: Biochemical, Sanitary And Stress Traits
The session focuses on the leverage of phenotyping methods to monitor biochemical aspects of the plant and the monitoring of plant diseases and stresses, , including with the use of multi- and hyperspectral sensor

Enjoy a pleasant evening and diner in the center of the old city of Avignon to network with the workshop participants.
Session #3: Dynamic And Functional Traits
The session focus on the design of traits used for final applications, or how some traits usually defined with one repetition can be redefined.
Session #4: Data Handling And Use Cases
The session presents some successful applications of plant phenotyping which have been included into real life processes
Visit of Arvalis' High-throughput Phenotyping Installation in Gréoux-les-bains
All the participants will be heading to a town near Avignon in the south of France in order to visit an installation that concentrates several high-throughput plant phenotyping facilities to see them in action.
